Palmers Scaffolding airports team are working closely with Heathrow Airport Holdings (HAL), offering a series of bespoke Scaffold Awarenesses Courses, running every other Wednesday, until the year end.

The courses are being run on request of HAL for the benefit of all the main contractors & all airport construction staff – and feature a wide cross section of delegates attending, from Project Managers, to Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Planners & more.

The courses cover all aspects of scaffolding & access used on site at Heathrow – from erecting and striking best safe practices, fault finding, the weekly inspection process & more –  in a 1.5 hour classroom session, with a further 30 minutes outside in a training area (pictured).

Airports Divisional Manager, Tony Mileham said: “The courses have been well received by all attendees, who have left the course with a much better knowledge and the strict NASC & HSE guidelines we work too, and scaffolding and access in general.”
